Leather
Using leather is a very basic form of crafting and a good way to start.
-
First you need to kill a cow, and get cow hide.
-
Go to the Tanner in Al Kharid, make sure you bring 1gp for each cow hide you wish to turn into leather.
-
The Tanner will take all of the cow hide in your inventory and make it into leather for 1gp each.
-
Now you need to go get a needle and some thread.
-
Go to the crafting shop in Al Kharid. (It is near the general store)
-
Buy 1 needle and as many thread as you need. (Remember, 1 reel of thread can be used on 5 pieces of leather
before it runs out, so you do the math on how many you need)
-
When you have the supplies, use the needle and the leather together. (It will automatically use some of the
thread.
-
A menu will appear in the corner asking what you want to make, choose the appropriate one and your finished!

Pottery
Pottery is also a basic form of crafting but you wont be able to start until you gained a few levels in crafting.
-
First you need to mine some clay.
-
You can mine clay in the dwarven mines. (Don't worry, you only need a mining level of 1)
-
Now get a bucket or jug of water.
-
Mix the clay ore and the water together to get soft clay.
-
Now go to a potters wheel. (One can be found in barbarian village along with a pottery oven)
-
Now use the soft clay with the potters wheel and make either a pie dish, a pot, or a bowl.
-
After you do this, put the item into the pottery oven to finish it.

Jewelery
Jewelery is much more advanced form of crafting,(and eventually involves a little bit of magic).
-
First you must get a mould from the crafting shop.
-
Depending on what your making, you may need a ring mould, a necklace mould, or an amulet mould. I would just
buy all three because they are only 5gp and can be used over and over.
-
Now you have to make a gold bar. (See Mining and Smithing section)
-
Now you bring the gold bar and the mould you want to use to a furnace and a menu will appear in the corner
asking what type of jewelery you would like to make. Choose the appropriate one.
-
Now it will ask you if you would like to put a gem in the jewel.
-
You can get gems randomly from mining or from fighting certain monsters.
-
When you get a gem, you have to use a chisel on it to cut it.
-
You will have to have a pretty high crafting level to cut certain gems.
-
Once you have a cut gem, you can put it in the jewel and sell it for more.
-
If you put a gem in an amulet, you will be able to enchant it so that the amulet will give you special attributes.
See the Magic section to see which magics do this.
-
Also, when you make an amulet you will have to string it.
-
Use some shears on a sheep and get the wool.
-
Use the wool on a spinning wheel to get a ball of wool.
-
Use the ball of wool on the amulet to string it.

Holy Symbols
Making Holy Symbols is pretty easy, but in order to finish them, you need a high prayer level.
-
First you need to mine some silver.
-
There is a silver rock in the scorpion pit near Al Kharid, so go mine there. (See Mining and Smithing
Section to see what level you need to be)
-
Bring the silver to a furnace to make silver bars. (See Mining and Smithing section)
-
Now you need to go to the crafting shop and buy a Holy Symbol mould for 5gp.
-
Now use the silver bars with the mould in your inventory on the furnace and a menu will appear. (You will
need a crafting level of 16)
-
Choose to make a Holy Symbol.
-
Bring the "Unblessed Symbol" to Brother Jarrod in the monestary,(you will need a prayer level of 31 to get
to him), and he will bless the Symbol.
-
You will have to string the Holy Symbol in order to wear it.
-
Use the shears on a sheep and get some wool.
-
Bring the wool to a spinning wheel to get a ball of wool, then use the ball of wool on the Symbol.
Glassblowing
Glassblowing is an advanced form of crafting which can only be used on the members servers.
-
First of all, you need to get a glassblowing pipe.
-
You can find a glassblowing pipe on Entrana Island, as well as all of the other supplies you'll need.
-
Now you need to make molten glass.
-
You'll need to get a bucketful of sand and seaweed.
-
Both of these an be found on Entrana Island.
-
First get an empty bucket and use it with sand to get a bucketful of sand.
-
Now pick up some seaweed from the beach and use it with a range.
-
This will give you sodium carbonate.
-
Now go to a furnace with the glassblowing pipe, the bucketful of sand, and the sodium carbonate.
-
Use the bucketful of sand and it will make molten glass for you.
-
Now you use the glassblowing pipe on the molten glass to make the following items.
